Youth Leaders Show Their Commitment to Helping the World at the International Bell
Parade

New York, NY, Oct. 24, 2006 -- Participants in the United Nations Global Youth
Leadership Summit will march in the International Bell Parade from 7:30am - 8:30am
on Monday, October 30, 2006, beginning at the Marriott Hotel East, 525 Lexington
Avenue, and culminating at the United Nations Visitors Entrance at First Avenue and
46th Street.

Organized by World Culture Open (WCO), an international non-profit organization
working in the field of culture, the International Bell Parade takes place during
the three-day United Nations Global Youth Leadership Summit, which brings together
384 young leaders from 192 UN Member States to discuss their role in addressing the
world's greatest challenges to humanity, including poverty reduction, educating
young boys and girls, and ensuring a safe environment for all. The parade symbolizes
the various perspectives needed to resolve these issues.

"Young delegates will focus on ways of using their youthful energy and their
technological skills to tackle major socio-economic challenges," said Djibril
Diallo, Director of the UN's New York Office of Sport for Development and Peace
(UNOSDP). "They will employ the ideas, networks, and initiatives from their summit
brainstorming to help launch a new decade of bold cooperation."

WCO, under the dynamic leadership of its Secretary-General, Dr. Grace Lee, is a key
global Summit partner which will provide a variety of cultural events for the
Summit, including dance and music performances from around the globe. WCO aims to
open minds to a common humanity by promoting cultural networks and cultural
diplomacy.
